Our Story
Native Donegal man, Aidan Haughey, has a deep love and appreciation of the stunning landscape where he grew up. It was only natural then, that as soon as he was old enough to have his driving licence, he joined Sliabh Liag Tours, the company founded by his father, Joe over 35 years ago.
The tour business has expanded over the years and now employs ten people from the locality in various expert roles from Tour Guides to fully qualified and experienced Drivers.
Sliabh Liag Tours is located in the fishing village of Teelin at the base of the magnificent Sliabh Liag Cliffs and is perfectly placed for tourists to begin their adventure. En route to the cliffs, the coastal landscape is brimming with history, natural beauty and wildlife.
Visitors from all over the world are greeted with the unique warmth of the famous Donegal welcome and leave as friends.

Really nice views of the Cliffs, works in progress to create a paved path up to the Cliffs. The road to the car park seems recently refurbished, so no big problem to get there, all free. Nice investment for tourism.Marian F

The walk up to the cliffs will take your breath away but the view is well worth the effort. I could have stood looking at the colour of the rocks and the sea below all day.
